About the God Shack
Okay, So Who Are We?
The God Shack is a web concept that was originally developed by Shane Miller in 1998. After a number of failed attempts at managing an informative web-site that would have appeal for a broad cross-section of people (both Christian's and not), the God Shack was born in 2001.
It must be said- the God Shack is unashamedly Christian in all it's content. And not nominal Christianity either: the real kind of "going for God, living in the faith zone" Christianity that comes out of personal relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ.
We're not going to shy away from declaring what we believe. You will find we have a Statement of Faith, and will note that we believe the orthodox teachings of the church (those doctrines that are not disputed between denominations) while also being Pentecostal.
With that being said, you will not find mindless talk here that is [unfortunately] associated with Christians (Pentecostal or otherwise). Being a Christian is about total transformation of ones life- body [physical reality], soul [mind and emotional reality], and spirit [God reality]. So you will find we are not scared to be intellectual here.
